WBSETCL wholly owned by Govt. of West Bengal, is a professionally
managed, a multi-sited Power Transmission Company in Eastern India. The Company
has developed strong in-house expertise in various facets of power transmission
business. As on the end of financial year 2008-09, the Company operates and
maintains a transmission network of 11160 CKM of Extra High Voltage Transmission
lines along with 93 sub-stations (400 KV- 66 KV) having total transformation
capacity of 15214 MVA, spread over the entire stretch of the State of West Bengal.
With focus of improving performance, the transmission system was consistently
maintained at an availability of over 99%, at par with international standards.

(WBSETCL), Invites applications for the post of Office Executive/Stenographer
Age Limit : Minimum
18 years and Maximum 27 years as on 01-01-2013. Age is relaxable by 5 years
for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates of W.B. State only
Mode of Selection :
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in
Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test and Interview for both posts. Candidates
called for Written Test / Computer Proficiency Test / Interview shall not be
entitled to reimbursement of travelling expenses. The Written Test / Computer
Proficiency Test / Interview will be held in Kolkata only.
Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to General / OBC-A /OBC-B/Ex-Serviceman
/ Meritorious Sportspersons/ Exempted Category/ Physically Challenged categories
are required to pay a non-refundable Application Fees of Rs.250/- together with
Rs.22/- as bank service charges. SC / ST candidates from the state of West Bengal
are exempted from application fees.
United Bank of India has been authorized to collect the
Application Fee, in specially opened non-operated current account on behalf
of WBSETCL.Fees can be deposited at any branch of United Bank of India throughout
India through a triplicate challan.
